A Real American Fanboy Part 7: Showcase #53

Hey, we're really making some progress now! Showcase #53, the first G.I. Joe comic actually licensed by Hasbro!

(Please note that I tried to get somebody else to do one of the voices in the cut-away gags, but I didn't get an audio file in time. If I get said file, I'll probably re-upload.)

A Real American Filler Episode

Due to circumstances, I was unable to complete A History of G.I. Joe episode 7, so here's some filler I cobbled together at the last minute. Some valuable links you may enjoy:

The History of G.I. Joe part 6: The Lieutenant

Let's take a look at The Lieutenant, a 1963 television series starring Gary Lockwood. Not only was it an inspiration for the G.I. Joe toyline, but it was the first TV series produced by Gene Roddenberry.

Special thanks to Tom Ollis for lending his voice to this production.

The Snake Eyes Connection (a parody song)

The History of G.I. Joe part 6 is running a bit behind because of reasons that aren't very good, but here's a parody song about Snake-Eyes.

Thanks to David Cummings for his assist with a piece of art here.
